Things To Do In Northern Virginia With Kids For Fall

Looking for fun events to do with your kids this fall?  With the weather getting cooler and Halloween here sooner than you know, here's a list of what's going on in the Northern VA and DC area to do with your kids {or pets!}

Since I'm based out of Prince William County, the majority of the listings on here are local to me.  However, when I can I like to provide links to events outside this immediate area.  When others have come before me with similar lists for their area, it's easier to just provide you with their website, so be sure to check them out and let them know you found them through NovaMother.com!

Make sure to bookmark this page and check it often for new events, as I'll be updating it as I find out about new things to do!

**All photos are from the event Facebook pages.

The Blood and Guts Run is a 5k obstacle run for all-ages that encourages participants to fight their way through our unique course by climbing over the Wall of Death, zooming down the Bloody Water Slide, and trudging through our Blood Filled Foam! You will be chased by packs of blood squirting zombies as they try to infect you with their blood-filled water guns. Once you cross the finish line, you’ll be rewarded with a custom made Blood and Guts T-shirt!

I found this online and just couldn't resist telling you guys about it.  My oldest is into zombies in a MAJOR way, and my husband is a huge fan of obstacle courses, so there's a strong chance our family could be competing in this.
